TURNED CANDLESTICKS

These are all 1" scale, turned by Harv Jacobson on a miniature lathe from acrylic.

This is a pretty trio.  They look like candy.  Lovely mint green, raspberry pink, and
purple.  I always put mis-matched candlesticks on my table at Easter with matching
colored candles.  Tallest one is about 7/16" tall without the candle.  (They come with
candles.)  $24.00 + $2.25 postage.

Deep purple pair.  The tallest one (without candle) is about 9/16" tall.  (They come with
candles.) $22.00 + $2.25 postage.

I'm calling these the Raspberry Smooth ones, because I have another pair.  The
tallest one is about 5/8" tall without the candle.  (They come with candles.)  $22.00 + $2.25 postage.

These are the red/gold pair.  The tallest stands about 5/8" tall not including candle.  (Candles included.)
$22.00 + $2.25 postage.

Gold/white candleholder.  This was turned in 2 parts and includes a candle.  It stands about
3/4" tall.  $16.00 + $2.25 postage.

Pale pink and turquoise pair.  Note the intricate turns.  Candles included.  The turquoise one
is about 3/4" tall without the candle.  $24.00 + $2.25 postage.

 Blue and white base
 Red/orange acrylic.
 Bluish gray colored acrylic.
Purple acrylic base.
$37.00 each + $3.00 postage.  E-mail:  sheila.jacobson@gmail.com

PORTLAND SOUVENIRS

My husband and I both went to the Portland Small Scales Houseparty; so I have duplicates of some things to sell.

Theme luncheon gift.  Monet's Garden in a painted tin.  This is the exterior lid of the tin. (Because of the
camera, "Monet" is a mirror image.)  Inside the lid is Monet's house done in wood with landscaping around the building.  In the bottom of the tin is the garden and lily pond with bridge.  Lots of detail.
Very beautiful.  There is also ribbon edging with a tiny frame and picture.  Made by Sue Herber.
$70.00 + $3.00 postage.

(All other Portland souvenirs have sold.)

POP-UP BOOKS - SHOPS AND HOUSES

I often bought cute items for future granddaughters which might get them interested in miniatures.  I ended up with 3 grandsons.  So I am letting
go of my stash of cute girly things.  Here are 6 pop-up books:

1.  Little Women Pop-Up Dollhouse folds open into 8 rooms on 2 levels.  It includes opening doors between some of the rooms, one closet opens, 5 paper dolls, and fold-out furniture in every room.  Never played with.  It is approximately 13 1/2" tall x 9 1/2" wide.  $12.00 + $3.00 book rate postage.

2.  A Victorian Doll House includes 8 rooms on 2 levels, a staircase, chandelier, doors and cupboards that open, furniture and plants.  So cute!  It is about 13 1/2" tall x 9 1/2" wide.  $16.00 + $3.00 book rate postage.  Never played with.

3.  Secret Garden  SOLD

4.  The Pick and Shop Marketplace includes 4 fold-out shops: The Candy Store, Toys, Joe's Jackets,
and Groceries.  They fold out like market stalls and include 10 people, shopping bags,  and lots of accessories and merchandise.  Never played with.  (Has the price stamped on the back of $19.99.)
It is about 16" wide x 8" tall.  $15.00 + $3.00 book rate postage.

5.  The Edwardian Grocer's includes a 3-story building, the grocer and his wife, a small story book,
the front and sides of the building, opening doors, 6 rooms with furniture and merchandise, the grocer's home and business.  Never played with.  (It is stamped with the original price of 12.99 Pounds.)
It is about 8 1/2" wide x 15 1/4" tall.  Really ingenious how you can look in the windows of the front and see the store.  $14.00 + $3.00 book rate postage.

6.  The Fairytale Village Pop-Up Playset   SOLD

TWO TREASURES

I have 2 items I am putting up for sale:

Bespaq furniture item - I have no idea what you would call this.  It is a table/seat/desk.

The lid lifts up, folds back,  and exposes an upholstered seat in white brocade and a drawer that opens.  I purchased this years ago, and it has been in a glass curio.  Since I no longer do 1" scale, I am parting
with it.  $65.00 + $3.25 postage (in US).  If interested, e-mail sheila.jacobson@gmail.com
It is 1" scale, and stands 2 3/8" tall, and has the Bespaq sticker underneath.  A lovely piece.

And I have 1 cat made by Hermania Anslinger, an IGMA Fellow.  Hermania died a few years ago, at
the age of (I believe) 99.  She was still making miniatures in her 80's.  Hermania carved the item in wood, made a mold, and then poured in porcelain.  I have a darling black/white cat ...

sleeping away.  This piece has so much texture that it doesn't look like porcelain; even though I know
that is what Hermania worked in.
$49.00 + $3.00 postage (in US).  E-mail me if interested.
sheila.jacobson@gmail.com
Hermania said she learned to carve as a child.  Her mother was afraid she would injure herself; so she
wrapped all Hermania's  fingers in tape.
